The Sidewalk Cafe

I am a horrible person. I mean just horrible.  At the beginning of the month I start out all gung ho and ready to race.  I make it though the first week and then disappear.  It’s now 2 days until the end and I’m just now posting again.  So here’s a recap of the past few weeks.

I’ve been sick as a dog.  That’s right, that’s the excuse I’m going with.  I spent about 2 weeks of visiting doctors and almost $300 total including the different prescriptions they gave me.  Turns out I had pneumonia and something or other that caused a cough that almost crippled me.  Didn’t miss any work though.  Gotta pay for all the testing.  I’m now being sent to a lung specialist to see if there’s something more going on.  Still have the cough but now it seems like it’s only triggered when the air conditioning comes on at work.  I think I’m allergic to work.  I’ll be moving desks away from the vent in the next  couple of weeks so we’ll see if that helps.

I have been walking a lot lately.  We’re having a pedometer challenge at work.  Whichever team gets the most steps wins some kind of prize.  It’s got me walking a lot more at work, which is hard to do since I work at a computer in a call center.  I then come home and take the doggie for a walk.  Even MORE exercise.  I’m hoping to make it more into a habit.  Now that I can breathe again I plan to start back on the stationary bike again also.

Old family new again: I went to the Williams (second family) house the other day with Marcel.  I haven’t been there in forever.  I mean I’m talking at least a couple years.  It’s my own fault for losing touch and I greatly regret it.  I truly missed those people and that house.  I’m glad I finally took the step to getting back in touch.  My little sisters are all growed up now.  Man I STILL can’t believe Mimi is 21 already.  I feel oldddddddd.

My work week has come to an end and now it’s time to start the small business work week.  I’m basically done with the 2 clients I was working on, but I want another one.  I wanna new bed.  That’s right, for those of you that know me I STILL haven’t bought a new bed.  Life keeps happening and sucking up all my savings.
